Duggan Property Services provides comprehensive ad valorem property tax analysis and negotiation services to commercial property owners in order to minimize the annual property tax expense.
We pursue an aggressive program of minimizing our clients’ property tax obligation within the constraints of proper ethical conduct, good corporate citizenship, and applicable legal statutes.
Through our experience with hundreds of assignments across the country, our expertise in the real estate industry, and our association with appraisers, attorneys, realtors and affiliated tax consultants, we are able to provide complete ad valorem property tax strategies for our clients.
This program is achieved through:
- an understanding of the clients’ past, current and future property tax status;
- the evaluation of local and state assessment environments;
- the determination of potential opportunities;
- implementation of tax minimization strategies.
The owner and principal operative of the company is Charles W. Duggan. Mr. Duggan has twenty-two years’ experience in dealing with all facets of commercial real estate, from finance through site selection and acquisition, construction, and management. Mr. Duggan graduated 1981 from the University of Tennessee with the Bachelor of Sciences degree, majoring in Real Estate & Urban Development studies in the Business College. He has worked with the State of Tennessee Department of Transportation Right of Way Acquisition Division, in the appraisal of right-of-way condemnation tracts.
Duggan Property Services, Inc. is a member of the Appraisal Institute, and the International Association of Assessing Officers (IAAO), the foremost authority in U.S. ad valorem real estate taxation.
